These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lighting Cypress website at lightingcypress.com and the purchase of any services provided by Lighting Cypress ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Lighting Cypress provides professional outdoor, landscape, architectural, and holiday lighting installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential and commercial properties in the greater Cypress, TX area.

All lighting services performed by Lighting Cypress are supervised by a Texas-licensed electrician. We maintain all required state and local licenses and comply with applicable electrical codes and regulations. Proof of licensure is available upon request.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates provided by Lighting Cypress are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of estimate. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions, scope of work, or material requirements differ materially from those assessed during the estimate. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work.

3. Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide reasonable access to your property on the scheduled service date. If access is not available, a rescheduling fee may apply. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule changes with adequate notice. Lighting Cypress is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required to reserve your installation date. Deposit amount will be specified in your written quote.
• Final payment is due upon completion of services unless a payment plan has been agreed to in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of quote.
• Unpaid balances older than 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.

5. Warranties

All installation and labor services are performed by a licensed subcontracting partner. Labor warranties are issued by and are the sole responsibility of that subcontracting partner for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. Manufacturer warranties apply to all fixtures and equipment installed and are governed by the respective manufacturer's terms. Lighting Cypress acts as the project coordinator and is not directly liable for labor warranty claims. All warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period and will be directed to the applicable subcontracting partner. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, weather events, third-party modifications, or normal wear and tear.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel a scheduled service with at least 48 hours' notice without penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid. Holiday lighting removal services cancelled after installation are non-refundable.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lighting Cypress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Property Damage

All physical installation work is carried out by a licensed subcontracting partner who carries their own general liability insurance. In the unlikely event that property damage occurs during the course of service, the subcontracting partner bears direct responsibility for assessing and remedying any legitimate claims. Please notify Lighting Cypress in writing within 5 business days of the incident so we can coordinate with the subcontracting partner on your behalf. Lighting Cypress is not directly liable for property damage caused during installation or service work performed by a subcontractor. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage caused by factors outside the subcontractor's control.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lighting Cypress website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Lighting Cypress and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

10. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site to transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
